At 39, Aina Clotet has spent more than half her life dedicated to the world of acting. With a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, she has established a versatile career in both theatre and audiovisuals that has earned her numerous awards and nominations, including two Silver Biznagas, a Sant Jordi Award, a Butaca Award and two Best Actress Awards at the Toulouse Festival.
Her performances in Oriol Paulo's Durante la tormenta, Mar Coll's Matar al padre, 7 razones para huir, and La Filla d'Algú, an ESCAC film for which she was nominated for the Gaudí Awards and won her a Silver Biznaga for Best Actress in the Zonazine section of the Malaga Festival, stand out. Among her latest premieres is the second season of Hierro and she has filmed the Finnish series Enemy of the People, which will be released soon.
In 2016 she debuted as a director with Tiger, a short film that earned her a nomination for the Gaudí Awards and numerous selections at Festivals. As a screenwriter, she co-wrote the TV-movie Positius for Tv3 and the short film Después, also with Valentina Visa and Carla Simón. He is currently working on his first feature film and a fiction series.
