BCN FILM FEST 2021

The fifth edition of the Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival (BCN FILM FEST) took place from April 15th to 23rd 2021. Celebrated 100% at the Verdi Cinemas, the festival kept growing, with the attendance of 37% more people than the previous year: 11,000 attendees. The Opening Gala included the Catalan premiere of "Promising Young Woman", Academy Award winner for Best Original Screenplay. The festival was visited by stars such as Johnny Depp and Isabelle Huppert. And it also featured the presence of stars of the Spanish scene such as Clara Lago, Fernando Colomo or Karra Elejalde. In addition to this, two Q&As were held as part of the 4th Jornada de Guionistas e Industria, with the participation of Jaime Rosales, Valèrie Delpierre and Celia Rico. Also in attendance were various authorities, who supported culture and the initiatives promoted by the festival.
