A monk finds a kitten and names it Anzu. Thirty years later, the kitten has become a 'ghost cat' who talks and lives like a human, rides a moped and works part-time as a masseur. One day, the old monk asks Anzu to look after Karin, his 11-year-old granddaughter. At first their personalities clash, but gradually they begin to understand each other. And the girl asks Anzu for a favour: she wants to see her dead mother again. This is the start of a dramatic journey that will take them to hell itself.
