Faced with the terminal cancer of the matriarch of a chinese-american family, it is decided to organize a family gathering and offer her last farewell without revealing the real reason. Despite not agreeing with the pretense, Bili travels to Changchun from New York to say goodbye to her grandmother and rebuild the family bonds lost due to distance.
