Carmen is a middle-aged catholic woman from Ronda, Málaga, who is about to fulfil her life dream: to be president of her cofradía, her religious brotherhood. This would be the first time a woman gets such a honor. But her fellows decide to choose finally their greatest rival, a man named Ignacio. Everything gets even more complicated for Carmen the day of the Holy Week procession, when she gets caught up in a mess that she can only solve with the help of her girlfriends.
