The comfortable and stable life of Sophia, a 40-year-old philosophy professor, is turned upside down the day she meets Sylvain. The two enter into a secret relationship of burning passion, but they are very different. Sophia comes from a wealthy Montreal family, while Sylvain is working class. After following her romantic impulses, Sophia begins to question her own values.
