Summer 1990, in the midst of German reunification after the fall of the Berlin Wall. A family finds millions of East German marks in an underground warehouse, a currency that is about to lose all its value against the West German mark. Taking advantage of various loopholes in the law, the family has only a few days to make a profit on the money, using as much ingenuity as possible.
