Judith is a girl who wants to play with her classmates and do weekend activities with her parents. But both at school and at home she feels left out. Her classmates only let her play if she plays dog, and at home her parents have no time for her. Judith, however, finds friendship and companionship in other friends: small dead animals, found on the street, in the garden or in the schoolyard, which she gives them a home in glass jars under her bed.
