Adaptation of the famous Mozart opera that Ingmar Bergman directed for Swedish TV. Prince Tamino falls in love with Princess Pamina, kidnapped by Sarastro. The mother of the girl, the Queen of the Night, promises Tamino that, if he rescues her, he will be able to marry his daughter. Tamino enters the territory of Sarastro with a magic flute given to him by the Queen of the Night. To free Pamina, Tamino must pass three tests.
