The second film in Éric Rohmer's Four Sesions series. Felicie and Charles have an intense summer holiday romance, but lose contact due to a simple mistake. Five years later, Felicie is living in wintertime Paris with her mother and Elise, her daughter born after that short relationship. Now, she negotiates the serious attentions of two men: a hairdresser and an intelectual bookseller. However, she is unable to commit herself to neither of them because she's still hoping to reunite with her true, old love.
