Wandering the streets of the city, Charlot bumps into a blind flower seller, who through a misunderstanding thinks he is a rich man. Moved by her sweetness, Charlot agrees to raise the money necessary to pay for an operation that restores the young woman's sight. To achieve this he will be involved in all kinds of extravagant misadventures.
