Four friends, tired of the monotony of their boring bourgeois life, lock themselves up for a weekend in an old mansion on the outskirts of Paris with the idea of eating relentlessly until they die. The members of this grotesque collective suicide are Ugo, a successful restaurateur and chef; Philippe, an eccentric judge who still lives with his nanny; Marcello, an attractive, impotent airline pilot; and Michel, an obsessed television producer. Gastronomic debauchery is soon joined by sexual licentiousness, when Marcello hires prostitutes.
