Via Tuscolana connects the center of Rome with the Cinecittà film studios. Many people who work in the world of cinema, or who want to work in it, cross it every day by tram. These are the cases of three young women of modest origins who aspire to success: Luisa, with a talent that allows her to dream of becoming a successful actress; Franca, who wants to seduce a producer who will open the way for her; and Giuditta, so naive that she thinks she is the new Anna Magnani.
