COMPLETED OFFICIAL SELECTION OF THE BCN FILM FEST 2018 ANNOUNCED

The Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival (BCN FILM FEST) has completed its Official Selection with six new titles. A total of 13 titles, among them, 12 Spanish premieres and 11 films in Competition. One year again, the Official selection pays homage to the Sant Jordi festivity with a selection of films widely related to literature and/or history. In line with this criteria, preferred films for the Official Section are adaptations of literary works, productions based on or related to historical events and film biopics about well-known figures.

The Festival will be opened by the British film THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY, which will have its World Premiere in the UK the same it will be screened at the BCN FILM FEST. Film´s director Mike Newell (“Four weddings and a funeral”, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”) will attend the premiere in Barcelona.
