DANI DE LA ORDEN'S "CASA EN FLAMES" WILL OPEN THE BCN FILM FEST 2024

The Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival, BCN FILM FEST, will kick off on April 18th with the screening of CASA EN FLAMES, a dramatic comedy by Dani de la Orden ("Hasta que la boda nos separe", "El Mejor verano de mi vida", "Barcelona, nit d'estiu", "Barcelona, nit d'hivern"), which will be the opening film of this vuitena edition. The film, shot in Catalan, will have its world premiere at the festival.

Emma Vilarasau, Enric Auquer, Maria Rodríguez Soto, Alberto San Juan, Clara Segura, Jose Pérez-Ocaña and Macarena García star in this dramatic choral comedy about a family that reveals its deepest and most hidden secrets during a weekend meeting. The script is signed by Eduard Sola, with whom de la Ordren coincides again after his collaboration in "Barcelona, nit d'estiu" and "Barcelona, nit d'hivern".

Sinopsi

Montse is very excited because she is about to spend a weekend with all the family at her house in Cadaqués, in the Costa Brava. She has been divorced for a long time, her ex has a new partner, her children have grown up and for a long time they have been living their lives without paying any attention to her, but nothing and nobody will be able to spoil Montse's mood; she has been waiting for this moment for a long time, she has been dreaming about it for a long time: this weekend will be an ideal weekend... Even if for that she will have to burn everything.
