PIG, starring Nicolas Cage, will be the Closing Film of the festival.
The festival will feature 70 films, including 8 world premieres, 2 European premières, 25 Spanish premieres and 6 Catalan premieres.
The International Film Festival of Barcelona-Sant Jordi (BCN FILM FEST) announces the complete programme of its sixth edition, wich will be held from 21 to 29 April at the Verdi Cinemas as the main venue, and which includes 68 titles in the 8 sections of the event. There will be 8 World premieres, 2 European premieres, 23 Spanish premieres and 6 Catalan premieres.
Jury
The Official Jury of the BCN FILM FEST will be led by José Luis Rebordinos, director of the San Sebastian Film Festival, accompanied by the writer and scriptwriter Ignacio Martínez de Pisón and the actress Aina Clotet.
The critics and journalists of the Asociación Catalana de Críticos y Escritores Cinematográficos (ACCEC) Jordi Izquierdo, Paula Arantzazu and Toni Junyent will form the jury that gives the Critics Award. The jury that gives the (UB) Film-History Award for Best Film for its historical values will be formed by Francesc Sánchez Barba, Juan Vaccaro and Virginia Vaccaro.
