ISONA PASSOLA REWARD THE PREMI D'HONOR OF THE BCN FILM FEST 2021

Isona Passola, producer, director and President of the Acadèmia del Cinema Català, will receive the BCN FILM FEST Award of Honor on April 15 during the opening ceremony of the contest. Passola will receive the award in recognition of her work at the head of the Academy for the last eight years,  and as a producer of films such as "Pa Negre" or "Incerta Glòria".

Born in Barcelona in 1953, Passola is the founder of Massa d'Or Produccions, with which she has produced films such as “Pa Negre” (9 Goya awards, 13 Gaudí awards), “Incerta Glòria” (8 Gaudí awards), “De nens ”,“El pianista” or “El Mar”, and documentaries that he has also directed such as “Cataluña-Espanya ” or “L'endemà”.

Passola is also the first woman president of the Ateneu Barcelonès, she is part of the Consell Nacional de la Cultura i les Arts (CoNCA), and is a professor at the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication at the Ramon Llull University.
