NEW ADDITIONS TO THE PROGRAMME OF THE BCN FILM FEST

The BCN FILM FEST has added two new films to its programme. The latest work by Ángeles González-Sinde, "El Comensal", which deals with the aftermath of a murder at the hands of ETA and the two different ways of dealing with loss and the consequences of terrorism. It will be shown in its world premiere in the Official Selection. Director Ángeles González-Sinde, actors Susana Abaitua, Ginés García Millán and the author of the novel of the same name on which the film is based, Gabriela Ybarra, will visit the festival.

The Spanish premiere of "Downton Abbey: A new era", by Simon Curtis, can be seen in the festival's Zona Oberta. The original cast of Downton Abbey will be reunited for this film series, which includes Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West.

With these new additions, the BCN FILM FEST 2022, which will be held from 21 to 29 April, will have a total of 70 titles in its programme.
