OLIVER STONE HEADS THE LIST OF VISITORS TO THE BCN FILM FEST 2022

Once again this year, the BCN FILM FEST will feature a large number of visits, including Oliver Stone ("JFK: Through the looking glass"); Jeremy Thomas and Mark Cousins ("The storms of Jeremy Thomas"), the crew of the opening film "Espejo, Espejo" formed by Marc Crehuet, Natalia de Molina, Santi Millán, Loles León, Malena Alterio, María Adánez, Betsy Túrnez and Carlos Areces; Carmen Machi, Quim Gutiérrez and Yolanda Ramos ("Amor de madre"); Claire Simon ("I want to talk about Duras"); Óscar Jaenada and Fernando Tejero ("La piel en llamas"); Martín Cuervo, Salva Reina, Julián López, Kira Miró and Macarena Gómez ("Todos lo hacen"), Greta Fernández and Roger Casamajor ("El fred que crema"); Yvan Attal and Ben Attal ("Les choses humaines"); Anna M. Bofarull and Nora Navas ("Sinjar") or Maria Ripoll and Ingrid García-Jonsson ("Nosaltres no ens matarem amb pistoles").

Producer Jeremy Thomas will receive the BCN FILM FEST Award of Honour on 21 April during the festival's opening ceremony. Thomas, who has produced essential titles in the history of modern cinema, such as "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence", "The Last Emperor", "The Sheltering Sky", "Crash" or "Dreamers", always trying to preserve artistic ambition and commercial aspiration, will receive the award in recognition of the importance of producers in the filmmaking process. The festival also pays tribute to him with the retrospective in the Imprescindibles Section.
