POSITIVE RESULTS FOR THE THIRD EDITION OF THE BCN FILM FEST 2019 WITH OVER 15.000 ADMISSIONS

Last Tuesday evening the third edition of the BCN FILM FEST came to end with the Closing Gala and the Spanish premiere of THE BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS, by Joel and Ethan Coen. 
 
El BCN FILM FEST 2019 has attracted over 15.000 admissions, with an increase over 76% in comparison with the last edition. 18 times we had the NO TICKETS ANNOUNCEMENT. 

The BCN FILM FEST has  a popular identity and in this edition, with all the sesions for the price of 2,90 €, we have achieved that the price was not a problem for the audience.

BCN FILM FEST 2019 key points:

- 66 films (3 world premieres, 2 international premieres, 1 European premiere, 22 Spanish premieres, 9 Catalan premieres) and 102 screenings.

- 21 films directed by women

- 15 free screenings

- 3 festival Cinemas: Cinemes Verdi, Filmoteca de Catalunya and CaixaForum

- 25 screenings with presentations and Q&As

- 2nd Screenwriters Day:
"Female screenwriters in the audiovisual fiction"
"The composer as a part of the film storytelling"

- Conference “Cine, Televisión y Plataformas” with:  Eladio Jareño (TVE), Vicent Sanchis (TV3), Domingo Corral (Movistar+), Harold Gronenthal (AMC), Fernando Bovaira (MOD), Mariano Barroso (Academia de Cine español) and Teresa López (RakutenTV).
