SUMMARY OF THE FIFTH DAY OF THE BCN FILM FEST 2024

At the Verdi cinemas, we had the presence of Mikael Persbrandt, star of HAMMARSKJÖLD, who presented the film and participated in the Q&A after the screening.

We also had Spanish talent, with a presentation and a Q&A by director Álex Montoya, the author of the novel of the same name, Paco Roca, and actors David Verdaguer and Lorena López. In addition, the director Fer García Ruiz and the actors and actresses Malena Alterio, Arturo Valls, Betsy Túnez and José Corbacho, presented the comedy MALA PERSONA, with a Q&A too.

The first session of NOUS TALENTS took place, presenting the short films made by students from FX Barcelona Film School and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

As for the Parallel Activities, the presentation of the book "Jo no volia ser Rita Hayworth" by Víctor Alexandre took place at La Perla 22. At Casa Seat, an episode of the Sitges Fantàstic Podcast was recorded and, finally, at the Verdi, the book "No sé si me explico", by Carlos Boyero, was presented.
