SUMMARY OF THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE BCN FILM FEST 2024

Two Spanish films were presented at the Verdi cinemas: ALUMBRAMIENTO and BOOKS & DRINKS.

In the case of ALUMBRAMIENTO, we had the presence for presentation and discussion with the director Pau Teixidor and the team of the film. Regarding BOOKS & DRINKS, the director Geoffrey Cowper and the actress Clara Lago presented the film and also participated in the colloquium after the screening.

In addition, the documentary JEFF KOONS: A PRIVATE PORTRAIT was presented and discussed by director Pappi Corsicato. Short films from the schools La Casa del Cine, UVic and ESCAC were also screened in the second session of Nous Talents.

As for the Parallel Activities, the seventh edition of the Screenwriters' Workshop took place at Casa Seat, which was divided into two blocks: AI and the Creative Process + presentation of LAAB 2024. Finally, at La Perla 22, a colloquium was held under the title ‘Catalonia - Japan: A Publishing Relationship’.
