“We are very pleased to see how this cultural spring at the Verdi has unfolded. It is spectacular to witness the enthusiastic response from the audience to the great programming effort of an inspiring festival, deeply rooted in the city and its calendar. We have celebrated cinema, as we had set out to do, in this chain of anniversaries that presented themselves to us, combining talents and perspectives. We close an edition that has been one of recognition and that strengthens our bond with the audience and with Barcelona,” said Conxita Casanovas, director of the BCN FILM FEST.
