SUMMARY OF THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE BCN FILM FEST 2026
Summary of the presentations and parallel activities of April 22.
It took place at Casa CUPRA Raval, the screenwriters’ and industry day. The first session was: «Diversity in fiction: from the stories to the teams that make them possible», a panel moderated by Mireia, with Adriana Fuertes and Carla Sospedra.
The second session, «Editing and screenplay», with the team of Cada Día Nace Un Listo, Arantxa Echevarría and Victoria Lammers, and the Pizza Movies team, with Carlo Padial and Joan Martí.
Third session of «New Talents», featuring the screening of eight short films with presentations by the directors, students from Bande à Part, Univ, and Universitat Blanquerna.
Lolita, Asia Ortega, and director David Ilundain, with the rest of the film crew, visited us to present Mallorca Confidencial. They introduced the film and held a Q&A.
At the Institut Français, La copia perfecta was screened, followed by a Q&A with director Jean-Paul Salomé.
We were also visited by director Haifaa Al-Mansour, who presented her film Unidentified and later took part in a Q&A.
Within the Asian Women by CineAsia section, Love in the Big City was screened, with an introduction by CineAsia.
