Aaron is a 19-year-old boy who is very attached to his family. Pilar, her grandmother, suffers from dementia and wants to return to Salcedillo, the town where she was born and where she lived until they moved to Barcelona, but her husband and daughter refuse. Unable to accept her grandmother's condition, Aaron wants to accompany her to her town, perhaps delaying her inevitable loss.
