Old and lonesome carpenter Gepetto carves a wooden puppet when something magical occurs: the puppet starts to speak, walk, run and eat just like any other child. Geppetto names it Pinocchio and raises him like a son. However, Pinocchio finds it hard to be good. He easily lets himself be led astray and always ends up in disgrace. His faithful friend the Fairy will try to make him see that his dream of becoming a real child won't come true unless he changes his way of being. A new live-action interpretation of the classic tale which goes back to the roots of Pinocchio's story.
