In the summer of 2014, Bernard Jordan, an 89-year-old World War II veteran, escapes from his residence where he lives with his wife Rene, to join his fellow war veterans on a Normandy beach, commemorating their fallen comrades on the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Landing.
