Kosovo 2017. Zoé and Volta are two twentysomething cousins who, bored with their present and with no future prospects, decide to leave the remote rural village where they live. They steal the rusty family car and head to Pristina, the capital, to enroll in the local university and enjoy a freer and more pleasant existence. Amidst social and political tensions, they discover a country in crisis, searching for its identity on the verge of independence and where youth has been forgotten.
