Edith is a curious forty-year-old journalist who decides to become a single mother through a sperm-donation process. However, the challenges turn out to be more overwhelming than she expected, and she begins to fear she may not be enough for her child. When the donor’s identity is unexpectedly revealed, Edith decides to seek him out under the pretext of offering him a job  interview, an act that upends her emotions, as well as those of everyone around her.
