Veteran filmmaker Agnès Varda and young artist JR travel around the French countryside in a minibus turned into a very special photo booth. A very simple goal: meet people, exchange ideas and stories, take pictures of these people and show them in big format in public places to see how the public react to them. The film shows the final result of this whole process and what this will mean for Varda and JR from a professional, but also from a personal and emotive perspective.
