Stevie is a 13-year-old boy in Los Angeles in the mid-90s who feels bored and disgusted with the life he leads. He has a whole summer ahead and the company of his divorced mother and his older brother, with whom he often fights, is not very encouraging. But he meets a group of skateboarders and, when he befriends them, he opens the doors of a new and attractive world. Stevie will have fun like never before, but he will also experience the disappointments of getting older. And he will not be the same young man who started that summer.
