As the town prepares to celebrate its annual holiday, Blanca is working hard to make the first paella she has ever made in her life perfect. She has managed to reunite her lifelong friends after years of not seeing each other. They are all in their thirties and feel that youth is slipping away from them, trapped in job insecurity, disenchantment and a continuous starting over. The paella goes on until nightfall, between revelations of secrets, reproaches and misunderstandings. But now more than ever, the five friends will need each other to get ahead.
