After their recent separation, Irene faces for the first time the absence of her four-year-old daughter, who is spending a few days with her father. Unable to adapt to this new reality, she decides to travel to a small town in the Catalan Pyrenees where she has a house, seeking to regain the security and calm that she feels she has lost for a long time. But the place, which in the past was so familiar, gradually appears as overwhelming as her new life and will end up forcing her to stop running and face her fears.
